Happy October 2nd!! It’s officially one month until my birthday (just figured I’d put that out there), and I’m so glad that the leaves are changing and the weather is starting to cool down.
Yesterday, instead of falling victim to the Sunday Scaries, I organized my whole room (and closet), and prepared myself for the week. Just call me the #organizationqueen 👑. But more importantly than all of that boring stuff, yours truly began to decorate for Halloween and autumn! I picked up some small pumpkins from a little family-owned market stand on my way home from class last week, and I think I may go and pick up some more later this week. I also have the cutest ceramic jack-o-lantern sitting on one of my desks in my room. I’m currently on the hunt for some fall candles and even more decorations. I truly can’t be stopped. When I’m older, you can bet my house is going to be the one that is all done up for every single holiday. If I get my room to my liking, maybe I’ll do a home decor post for autumn.
Today’s post may seem relatively short, but that’s because I spent some time learning some basic graphic design and created a printable fall to do list for you! I’m pretty proud of this little guy. It’s full of things I know I’ll be doing this fall and it’s a nice reminder so you don’t forget any fun activities.
It’s pretty simple, and there was a whole lot more I could have added, but these were some of my favorites! Hopefully my skills with the editor become a little better by the time December rolls around and I make a winter to do list!
Also, I wanted to conclude today’s post with expressing how terrible I feel for all of those affected by the shooting in Las Vegas. It’s a senseless act of violence, and I wish I could have woken up to a different and happier world. My heart truly goes out to everyone hurting right now. One amazing thing I have seen stemming from this is how many people in Nevada have been giving blood. There was a video on Facebook where the line went on for so so long. That’s the type of togetherness I love to see. Las Vegas, you are in our hearts and prayers.
