Holiday Outfits – Dresses + Sweaters

I love dressing up for the holidays. My family always tries to do an extended family Christmas party with all of my mom’s side of the family and I feel like I always had a new holiday dress to debut at that party. I remember being in elementary school and feeling so important and almost regal as I would walk down my Aunt’s spiral staircase in my tights and velvet dress, being so careful not to slip. For some reason a white tights and green velvet and white lace dress is really sticking out in my memory right now. This year, I sadly couldn’t attend as I had to be an actual adult and work. But, fingers crossed I’ll be there next year!

I’ve put together multiple options for your holiday party needs. Maybe you have to dress up for a party and need a new dress, or are having your annual friend group’s secret Santa and need a cute sweater to wear. I’ve made the prices range a bit, with some pieces from both options being only around $30 and some around $150.

Dress Options

I absolutely love the ruffled Ralph Lauren dress in green and the more budget friendly Donna Morgan one that looks almost the same (in red) and is only around $30!! I tried to stick with a red and green theme, but keep in mind some of these dresses actually come in multiple colors!

Sweater Options:

I love me a good sweater, and sadly a lot of mine are getting old and faded. I’m a big fan of the Moth sweater, but also love the little bows on the sleeves on the red Max Studio top (and the fact it’s under $30!) Also, the back of the light blue top is the perfect way to show a little skin in the winter. Honestly, the more I keep scrolling through, the more I want to write about. So long story short, I really like the sweaters I’ve picked for y’all.
I’ve been going through a MASSIVE closet reboot this fall/winter and it’s such a good feeling of getting rid of clothes you aren’t in love with anymore/don’t fit and adding new pieces you love. Slowly but surely building the closet of my dreams over here. Hope you found something new in this post to add to your own wardrobe!!
