National Sunglasses Day Inspo

Happy National Sunglasses Dayūüē∂ÔłŹ¬†I’ll be honest, I didn’t know this was a day until just recently, when I saw a brand using the day to promote and sell their sunglasses. There is seriously a national holiday for everything now, I swear!! Recently, I’ve been wearing a more fun pair of sunglasses from Francesca’s. They’re inexpensive and play on the cat eye style that’s grown in popularity. I’m pretty sure that I linked the correct color, but there are lighter and darker shades that accompany that specific style so I could be a little off. Some other cat eye sunglasses, that […]

Fourth of July Outfit Ideas

I absolutely love the 4th of July. The watermelon stacked so perfectly on red, white, and blue plates. The smell of fireworks and grilling in the air. The sounds of everyone laughing and enjoying the day. It’s seriously the best. While I’m not entirely sure what we have planned for the most American holiday just yet, I’m hoping that my friend Audrey is coming into town to spend it with us. Audrey’s previously spent a 4th with my family and it’s always a lot of fun. She’s been there for night swimming, sparklers, and a lot of ice cream eating. […]

Luggage I Love

I am in love with my luggage. There I said it. After I graduated high school, my mom and I both decided that it was time for me to step up my suitcase game. So long beloved hot pink suitcase that’s traveled everywhere from small sleepovers to Disney World to the Outerbanks of North Carolina and almost everywhere in between. After countless stores and online shopping I finally came across the luggage I had been searching for and essentially comparing every other piece to that we came across. I found the suitcases that seemed to scream, “Abby you’re an adult […]

Off The Shoulder Seersucker

This weekend I will be traveling to the East side of the state for a baby shower, so sadly I most likely will not be able to get any posts in. But, if you know me at all, then you know that I LOVE little kids and baby showers. The baby blue and light pink color palettes, Pinterest worthy decor, delicious food, family and friends. Really what more could you ask for in a weekend?? Needless to say, I’m beyond excited. What I’m also excited about is all of the seersucker patterns that have been popping up around every corner. […]

Grad Party Dresses

Ahhhh, grad party season. Where every person’s Facebook is exploding with invites to the newest class’s summer celebration and the grads are frantically searching Pinterest for how to make their party really stand out. Personally, I loved party hopping with my friends, eating all the food at each house, and seeing all of the photo collages people put up. My own grad party was unbelievably fun. We had amazing food, my friends and family, outdoor games like volleyball and corn hole, and even a dunk tank. You read that right. A huge dunk tank, where are the end of the […]

Memorial Day Weekend

What a great kickoff to summer this weekend was!! I hope everyone’s Memorial Day Weekend was filled of grilling, boating, and a whole lot of red, white, and blue. (Because mine sure was!)¬† On Saturday, we started the weekend with some time on the water in Saugatuck, Michigan. I wish I would have thought to take more pictures around the downtown, especially because it was so adorable and so lively. Known for having big boats come in to dock there, it was especially neat to see just how huge some of these yachts can get! After exploring the city, walking […]

Apartment and Dorm Room Spring Style: Sucker for Succulents

With Spring’s recent arrival, I’ve been itching to get outside, but with the midwest’s gloomy March weather that’s been a little difficult. Not only that, but the spring cleaning (and reorganizing) bug has bit me, and I’ve been scouring Pinterest and Instagram for ideas on how to spruce up my room, reorganize, and make it more aesthetically pleasing (because let’s be real – aesthetics have become everything). One thing that has stood out as another recent home style¬†trend is minimalistic indoor decor paired particularly with succulents or the house plant of your choosing. I’m sure many of you have seen […]

Rainy Day Outfit Inspiration

Goodbye winter blues, hello springtime storm season!! (Again. Clearly this weather isn’t going anywhere soon, so get ready for even more rain and clouds!) This cloudy Monday, I walked around and explored the historic district in my college town with my close friend Claire. After talking with her one day, I realized I just had to feature her on the blog. She has such a cute and classic style and it’s so similar to mine, that I figured it would be perfect to be on Abundance of Abby. So *drum roll please* everyone meet Claire! She’ll be featured on here […]
